Tips for teaching name writing
Start with UPPERCASE or Title case — a capital first letter followed by lowercase is how a name is really written, so it builds the right habit early. The dashed middle line shows where lowercase letters like a, e, and m should reach. Have the child trace slowly two or three times, then use the blank practice lines at the bottom to write the name on their own. Short names (3–6 letters) work best for beginners.
